Yes, Rocket passed away last week. This is our 4 year old Dobie, Evy, with the baby.
It was really sad two days after Rocket passed, it was as if it just clicked with the baby. He woke up in the morning looking for Rocket to say "Good morning" like he always did. He doesn't really understand, but always peeks in the dog bed in the morning and gives me a questioning look with his hand upturned.
What sweet photos! Sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved dog Rocket. Our dog passed away last summer and we are still so upset about it. They sure do become part of the family, don't they? Thanks for stopping by and linking up. Hope you had a fabulous WW. Sorry for stopping by a day late.
I think your litte guy picks up a lot when you read things to him. I bet he loves the acting out of stories. It is cool that he has his favorites down.
I loved your comment.Thank for taking the time to write it.
Your doberman seems to really enjoy your son! Its precious! We had to give our dog up recently and your photos make me miss him and the connection our kids had to our old pet...
Popping over from Blog Hop! Your little man is a doll! How old is he? My baby girl is 6.5 months old, and I just love her to pieces. Have a great weekend!
I am loving life as a mother to my amazing little man. Aside from spending time with my family, I love my other two jobs -- Brain training at Learning Rx and sharing the wonderful stories by Barefoot Books as a Barefoot Books Ambassador.
lover of bananas, music, shoes, dogs, being naked, new discoveries, and his family. also loves plowing through anything that stands in his way. not a fan of naps.
So confused. Did Rocket pass away? How is the baby doing? Does he know what is going on?
ReplyDeleteMy dog is 14ish and I can only imagine how much my baby is going to miss her when she eventually passes.

It's amazing how connected kids and pets become. They really do become a part of the family!
